SchemaWP v1.0.0 Release Notes

Jun 18, 2026

SchemaWP 1.0 is here. The biggest change: SchemaWP now works across your entire Automatic.css design system. Earlier versions let the agent change a small, curated set of settings — after a major rebuild of how SchemaWP maps ACSS, your AI agent can now read and adjust every area: colors, typography, spacing, layout, borders, buttons, cards, icons, shadows, surfaces, forms, animations, and more. On top of that, 1.0 adds full content tools, visual style guides, and a smarter, plain-language way of working.

Highlights

  • Full Automatic.css coverage. The agent reads and patches the complete ACSS token set, not a curated subset — the result of a major rebuild of the token mapping.
  • A skill for every design area. New skills for Buttons & Links, Shadows, Surfaces & Overlays, Forms, Animations, Color Assignments, Additional Styling, Custom CSS, and Options — plus Borders & Dividers, which replaces and expands the old Radius skill.
  • The right knowledge, on demand — for changes and advice. The agent now loads the matching skill whenever you work in an area or simply ask for advice about it, so its guidance is grounded in how Automatic.css actually works.
  • Work with pages and content. A 27-tool surface now includes reading, creating, updating, and deleting WordPress posts, pages, and block patterns — alongside design settings, Kits, and fonts.
  • Generate a visual style guide. Ask for a style guide and the agent renders your live palette, type scale, spacing, and radius as a self-contained page.
  • Save and restore Kits. Snapshot your whole design as a Kit and restore it whenever you need to.
  • Plain-language by default. The agent describes your design system in everyday terms, shows visuals instead of jargon, presents clear numbered choices, and surfaces technical detail only when you ask.
  • Safe by default. Every change is validated and shown as a before-and-after; invalid or locked settings are blocked before they reach your live site.

Works with your AI client

SchemaWP speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so it works with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and any other MCP-compatible client. Your instructions, locked settings, and behavior preferences travel with every session, whichever tool you use.
